THE NIGHTMARE OF NEURO-LYME
If you have ever been a caregiver, then you know how heart-breaking it can be to watch someone suffer....
I have been living that suffering for a decade now...
Kim is my partner of 18 years.
For the past 10 years, we've been losing the battle with MS/Neuro Lyme/Lyme-Induced MS, and the past 6 years have been a riveting, downward spiral, on a never-ending slippery slope.
At the age of 53, it seems as though Kim's body has aged 35+ years. She has the symptoms of a 90-year-old invalid, with zero quality of life.

Once, a phenomenal and vibrant athelete,
Kim has been reduced to a failing body, mind and crushed spirit.
In the beginning of our healing journey she would lose her balance and require a walking stick, which she would hide when photos were taken.
Now, on a walker fulltime or using a wheel chair for every day tasks, she needs her meals to be prepared and food cut for her, as her hands no longer have the motor skills to use a knife safely.
She has plaque on her brain as seen on her MRI films and reports, has been diagnosed with toxic DNA damage and toxicity to the myelin sheath.
These insidious discoveries have led to tooth abscesses,
which have led to extractions,
incontinence, edema, and toxic circulatory issues,
Debilitating, Excruciating,
NIGHTLY PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY OF THE FEET AND CALVES that GOES ON FOR HOURS, AND HOURS.....and reduces her to tears....
vision and balance problems, severe falls and injuries including bruised ribs, ripped lip,
cut by glass etc....and that was just this past season WHILE using a walker.
Barely able to make it to the restroom in the middle of the day or night, we are running out of hope....
We have spent well over $100,000 out of pocket combing the Eastern Seaboard for answers...
To no avail..........
And although we remain ETERNALLY GRATEFUL to our PAST PRACTIONERS for their HEALING GIFTS and RELENTLESS attempts to HELP KIM....
Even THEY...in their HEARTS...KNOW, that we have made LITTLE--if NO progress in the past 8 years....

So....where are we NOW?
We have found some hope for Kim's aggressive progression in an unlikely place for us.....Southwestern California....living in Southwestern, Virginia, that is quite a haul for us.
How will the money be used?
At this point our only hope is to keep Kim's system as clean as we can...the Lyme and Heavy Metal Toxicity have caused the lion's share of this damage, so we will be headed to California for Chiropractic Neurology treatments to hopefully restore usage and mobility of her hands and legs and feet...improve circulation and stabilize her spine so that her core strength may return.
After many years of hard falls, her head, neck, ribs and spinal column have taken a beating and although I've been there to soften the blow on many occassions, I've come to realize that I cannot be in two places at once!
I am at a point where there are 4 steps to enter our home on the front and in the garage...
It has become scary and dangerous for me to carry Kim down this small staircase anymore...I am seeking a chair lift and the construction to install and rework the 4 step stoop that our contractor thought was appropriate for a handicap client...it's unreal that logic never enters anyone's frame of reference....
The approximate Walker/Wheelchair Porchlift and installation cost is:

GoFundMe takes a portion of the money and many people in 2015 have been hit with tax bills from the IRS for their collected funds from GoFundMe so I am hoping that I can sort all of this out financially come tax time but for now, the need is great and time is of the essence....
that is why I've asked for $30,000
As an aside, anyone who still BELIEVES in America, KNOWS that EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IS BROKEN!
Kim and I have each been paying into Long Term care for nearly 20 years, and NOTHING is covered...we've called and heard legal loophole after loophole. I cannot get reimbursed for working from home and being a caregiver 24/7 and our policies do not cover me hiring a housekeeper, meal maker, therapist, etc... medicare barely covers anything and nothing healthy or restorative is covered at all.....
We plan to fly to California February 3rd and have her tests and treatments booked already. We hope to fund the trip by January 30th so that we can obtain funds in time to cover credit card expenses that we layout.
Dr. John Bergman is a visionary who thinks outside the box. He has offered hope and treatment to thousands and has hundreds of YouTube videos and testimonials.
Kim and I are Totally and Completely GRATEFUL for even the gift of $1 and will return the favor if you or a loved one are ever in need....(at a later date... of course, when I can recoup the funds for this
