My father Frank Ruiz has always been there for me and my siblings like no one else has and has always gone the extra mile for his children. He is the strongest man I know, my role model, my muse and my inspiration to do good in the world . it broke my heart to hear the news that he was sick, and since then I've made it my mission to care for him and make sure he has everything he needs. It's been hard on me and my fiance, both financially as well as emotionally.

  For those of you who don't know my father, he's been battling cancer for the past year. In his long and turbulent fight against this terrible disease,  the cancer spread from  his colon to his bones and his platelet count is at only 5 as of December 17th 2015. At this time his condition is deteriorating at an exponential rate and due to his condition he is in constant pain with very low energy and can't eat any solid foods. Our family is gathering together all of their resources to make sure that he is comfortable in his last days. We reaching out to friends, family, and strangers for help with expenses regarding his funeral and medical bills. So if there is any amount large or small that any of you can give it would be greatly appreciated by both Frank and our family. The last thing frank would want is to have his family struggle and fall into debt due to his burial and medical bills.
