I don't know where to begin other than to ask you to read...share...and if you are able please give any amount that is laid on your heart...if you can't give I ask you to pray for Gods protection, love and His will to be done in the life of my beautiful daughter, McKenzie Small. This a bit long. Thank you in advance for reading it...
McKenzie is my baby girl... She will be 18 March 2, 2016. She is at a major crossroad in her life and by Gods most amazing GRACE she is alive today. If you are a parent I believe you can relate that you will go to the ends of the earth to SAVE your children from evil. However, the reality and truth is that WE can't save them.
Only God Can.
In the last year on her own through a lot of praying and healing...she has turned her life around in many ways...she gained her High School Diploma, got a great job, earned her drivers lisc., got a car and has went through a positive year...yet still, searching for herself...and lost. I have weathered many storms and battles in the last 4 years...
In the summer of 2015 she started telling me God was speaking to her and calling her...it was really amazing to see Him truly show up EVERYWHERE! She felt she had a message to share with teens in life about her past and even still struggles...She has been very honest that she knew she needed to find the right path to learn and live before she could teach and share...She started seeking out Godly mentors...reading the bible...doing devotions and seeking a church. We have prayed alot for God to give us answers and direction.
November 26, 2015 she redidicated her life at a healing ministry by my dear friend Nanette - a movie hour sharing Todd White and what ended up being a 4 hour prayer and healing in her house that touched my life and my daughters.
The next day McKenzie started to plan and work on a program to begin a mission to speak and share Gods word. She just has had no clue how to start. Having no direction of goodness and very few friends that are a positive influence is really hard at 17. Nanette's intervention in her life and her calling into my daughters life was a miracle and that timing was amazing based on struggles McKenzie was facing.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
My dear friends reading this...I hope this does not offend you but you must know this truth...In the last four years I have seen evil chase but NOT be victorious. I will not even give evil his name as scripture above does as he is not worthy and has no place for any recognition in my life or my childs...However, I must say to you reading this. The roaring lion is REAL. It fights for the lives of our children and we must intervene with truth, protection and honest communication. He seeks to steal the truth and he seeks to harden the hearts of our children to where they sin beyond measure and turn away from any truth or belief in happiness for thier own lives...
God is the only way, the truth and the light. He is the answer, the strength and the great healer of all broken and harden hearts.
Here is the good news and where I need your help...Never did I dream I would humble myself to set up a GOFUNDME account but here I am. I am stepping out in faith and need blessings...and here is the 1st blessing that led me to this...
GOD SHOWED UP in the most awesome, crazy and amazing way this past week. On a New Years family trip we ran into a team of youth leaders....they were in Jacksonville, Florida heading to Sarasota, Florida to attend a wedding....miles away from thier homes in Kansas City, MO...We were in Jacksonville, Florida miles away from our home in NC....AMAZINGLY...Like totally Gods way of saying "hello - I orchastrated this! So listen up!" One of the leaders was the son of one of my dearest best friends whom had babysat my daughter when she was 7! We had not seen him (Jesse Taitt - Nanette's SON! The friend of mine whom had the movie/prayer night that McKenzie was saved at) in over 10 years... Like seeing him and talking to him at this exact time and place and location was nothing but the planning of GOD!
In a 24 hour pizza parlor until 4am in the morning we prayed, shared testimony and dicovered about IHOPKC...International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO....they had an opening for a 6 month spiritual empowering internship that starts January 14th, 2016. Yes...this coming WEEK!
She has to apply on Monday and get accepted, pay and fly out by Wednesday of this upcoming week...
A TON OF AMAZING GODLY THINGS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO MAKE THIS WORK BUT IF GOD OPENED THIS DOOR HE WILL SEE IT THROUGH.
I need funds, a pilot and a plane or a plane ticket and prayer for her acceptance and at some point way, way down the road a reliable car for her...
If this option A of IHOP does not work one of the leaders has a connection to option B YWAM Bethleham in New Zealand that has a different 6 months ministry program that starts January 26th.
As a mother...I know my daughter is at a crossroad in her life. Those that know me, know that I have fought for her life, her direction to come home to Jesus and stay on a path of Gods will for her life...

The truth is this is Gods Calling. This is for HIM, not me and to be be honest not her...This is to further HIS Kingdom. My daughter is an instrument...protected by the Almighty God of this Universe....Still in our presence because on December 16, 2015 Mckenzie had a horrific car wreck. Just weeks after giving her life to the Lord she almost died. He had angels camped around her as she crashed on I40 East running through a cement light pole, over a busy exit ramp and through a wrought iron fence....It is so apparent that He has a calling on her life or else I have no doubt that she would be sitting beside Him right now.
Please help me financially make this happen for her....I am a single parent and I work full time and I have the ability to help her with monthly needs while there but I am bombarded by recent medical expenses from the accident and need immediate funds to pay for the internships that God opens up! I know she will by Gods grace get into one of them...Please pray for McKenzie Small and pray for me as well...Elizabeth Ward.
Give to her campaign to leave the worldly ways she knows behind and give 6-12 months of her life to God in HIS word daily in a program to help her grow, learn and prepare her for a life that God called her for...to use her. To open her heart, her voice and sing loudly for all to hear His praises.
Please share this with anyone and everyone as we need the funds immediatly and all parents need to know we are all in a battle for the salvation of our children...
