Its no new news that David Carroll has had a rough 2015. This year has by no means been good to him, but hopefully we can stop the series of unfortunate events, and turn this year -- and his frown, up-side down! Let's restore Dave's smile!
On June 4th, Dave lost his best friend, Kyle, to a tragic accident. Kyle and Dave had been friends from a young age, and they were the best of buds.
Fast forward a few months, and Dave had a little accident himself which completely shattered his smile. He lost one tooth, and broke a few more, not to mention breaking small pieces of his top jaw.
Then, to make matters worse, Dave was laid off from his job as a manager at a 4-star fine dining restaurant, and therefore, lost all of his insurance.
The dental bills alone are crippling, and piling high; add the loss of his best friend, job, and smile to the mix, and its a wonder Dave still has a positive attitude.
Brittany Proctor, his girlfriend, has been by his side, and has been helping him as much as she can while serving tables at a local restaurant, but she is also a busy college student about to finish her degree to become a teacher. Brittany only has a few classes left to take, but with the rising cost of the bills, she might have to delay her future.
They have both exhausted their savings, and maxed out their credit cards. Dave has even gone so far as to put off the procedures until they can afford it, but by doing so he got an infection, partly because the dentist didn't address the issue of the bone fragments in his jaw, but also because he just couldn't afford it. Now, after another procedure, Dave is still missing a tooth, and is no where near being done with this painful and agonizing process.
Here is where we can all step in to help these two kind people out. Any amount of money will help! Dave is one of the kindest people I know, and Brittany has been one of my very good friends for many years. They have both bent over backwards to help other people, so why can't we band together to help them? The estimated total cost for all of the dental work is anywhere from $5,000 to $7,500.
The money raised from this go fund me will be used to finish Dave's dental work, and restore his smile to a permanent fixture on his face. By doing so, Dave will then have the confidence to get back out there and rejoin his career!
