Help save Daisy Bug
Donation protected
Hi everyone, this is Daisy Bug my 3 y.o. Yorkie who is in need of continued medical treatment to save her life. Life seemed quite normal earlier this week, but unfortunately the visit to the vet last Monday didn't catch the looming danger coming our way.

It all started early Friday morning when I woke up to Daisy making gagging noises without actually throwing up. The emergency physician line intstructed me to take Daisy to the vet as soon as they open. Daisy and I anxiously arrived at her vet's office only to be redirected to the Seattle Veterinary Specialist Hospital. Within the next two hours Daisy was diangosed with Pancreatitis, potential liver infection, extreme low protein levels and fluid collection around her organs. The wonderful staff and doctor started treatment on Daisy right away. There was hope until I recieved THE call just hours later. This was the call NO ONE wants to get. Daisy was unable to throw up, causing aspiration pneumonia that moved to her lungs. Daisy has lost her ability to breathe on her own and now requires 24/7 Oxygen with neublizer treatments.

Daisy has now been in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for 3 days and is still O2 dependent and will not survive until she is able to breathe on her own. With 2 serious diganosis, IV fluids and medications comes other issues. Daisy has developed an illeus (blockage of the intestines caused by a lack of peristalsis, the pumping action of the intestines that helps move food through the digestive system).

Today the doctor told us we are out of the first 48 hrs which are life and death but Daisy's battle is not over.
This is where I need the support from friends, family, acquaintances, strangers and animal lovers near and far. Daisy and I are asking for your help with her medical bills. Day 3 of ICU stay has cost me $6,000 and will continue to rise.
Your donations to help save Daisy Bug's life is the greatest gift we could ask for. Words cannot explain how grateful I am for your support through this. Daisy will get to return to her happy go lucky life. Daisy will continue to give many kisses, play fetch for hours with her tennis ball and go to bed knowing she was given another chance at this great life.
If you can't make a donation, please spread his page to raise awareness and to give her a possible fighting chance.
Thank you for taking the time to read his story, I will be grateful for whatever donations and shares are made in Daisy Bug's contribution.
