Everyone celebrates when a dog is saved from the euthanasia list but what many people don’t realize is that the journey doesn’t end once they leave the shelter. That’s often when their real healing begins
Hi, my name is Arianna, and I volunteer at East Valley Animal Shelter in Los Angeles. I see firsthand how much love and care these dogs still need even after being rescued. One of them is Shadow, a sweet Pit mix who was saved from the euthanasia list thanks to Paw Print Rescue of Oregon, who stepped in just in time to give him another chance at life.
After leaving the shelter, Shadow finally got to experience what it feels like to relax and be loved. His foster gave him a safe space to decompress and start healing.
Now it’s time for the next step in his journey, a board and train program that will help him build confidence, work through his separation anxiety, and prepare for his forever home.
We’re hoping to raise $2700 to cover the cost of his training. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us get closer to giving Shadow the happy ending he deserves.
If you can, please consider donating or sharing Shadow’s story. Your kindness truly saves lives and gives dogs like Shadow the chance to finally rest easy and feel loved ❤️
THANK YOU!! May your kindness come back to you many times over!!!
With love,
