It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Clement Oyebanji’s passing on January 17th, after a valiant battle with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Clement was a beloved member of the KIDVARC Alumni community, a hardworking cinematographer, a dedicated father, and a kind-hearted soul whose life brought immense joy and value to everyone who knew him. He was laid to rest shortly after, and his absence is deeply felt by all.
Although Clement is no longer with us, his legacy lives on, especially through his beloved children. We have decided to continue the GoFundMe campaign as a trust fund to support his children’s education and secure their future.
The funds raised will now be directed towards:
Educational support: Ensuring that Clement’s children have access to quality education and the opportunities he would have worked tirelessly to provide.
We remain incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support shown to Clement and his family during this challenging time. Your contributions will not only honor his memory but also provide hope and security for the future of his children.
As Nigeria is not a GoFundMe-supported country, his cousin Oluwasegun Idowu (in Canada) will continue to receive the funds and transfer them to the designated account managed by Clement’s family and friends in Nigeria.
For additional details or documentation about the campaign, feel free to reach out to any of the undersigned members.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
