My dog Charlie had to be taken to the vet in March. What had originally been thought of as constipation turned out to be a urinary obstruction due to bladder stones. They are rare Cystine stones. My insurance for him didn't process until March 1st which is to late to do be of use, as they see it as a pre existing illness.
We have already undertaken two surgeries and several meds along with fighting an ecoli and mersa uninary tract infection due to consistent catheterizations.
We have come a long way through our own willingness to tap our selves out and spend every dime to save him. As well as from the generaous love and support we have recieved from this page.
We recently lost another beloved animal due to kidney issues, despite our dedication to doing whatever it takes. That was only a year ago, and I don't think my wife and I can take losing another member of our small family.
At this point we are awaiting a follow up xray to confirm that he has ceased in stone creation. If that is the case, we will be moving forward with a final surgery to extract the remaining stones.
We are at a pivotal point, where he could be out of the woods and on to a bright future or at the end of the road.
He is approximately 5 years old and by all other health measurements, has a long life ahead of him.
I am asking/begging for people to help with what ever they can.
The funds provided will help with medical expenses (surgery, visits, medication, etc)
Thank You.
