Trans healthcare in Irelands excessive medical bureaucracy has led to over a decade long waitlist and then expensive private health insurance pushes its own implied 5 year long wait. Basically healthcare for trans people in Ireland for the majority is an agonizing ‘hypothetically you’ll get help if you wait an age’ situation no matter how much patient self advocacy you do, no matter “how transgender you are”, no matter how depressed your dysphoria makes you feel or act, no matter how many documents you change or how many doctors you apply to see. The years do not pass quickly and every moment of gender dysphoria is excruciating. Setting up a donation page was my last resort but unfortunately a necessary one. Any help at all whatsoever is sincerely appreciated. Thanks for your considerations.
