It has also houses a museum of golf artifacts and memorabilia for the Hall of Fame. The museum has been open all these years free of charge to the general public.
Foxburg Country Club has experienced severe financial difficulties over the course of several years.
Our financial decline can be attributed to many things, including a struggling economy, but the most significant factor has been the gradual, dramatic decrease in population since about 1980 when our area lost its two largest employers. Our members have volunteered countless hours in an effort to make ends meet, but we are made up mostly of aging, hard working, middle class people who do not have the resources to keep us afloat. Closing this course would result in the loss of our historic designation.
There are other ways to support the Country Club as well:
1 - Become a Member of Foxburg Country Club - For more information visit foxburgcountryclub.com, or visit the club house.
2- Make a Direct Donation - Send to:
Foxburg, PA 16036
Your support for this effort is most essential if we are to preserve a landmark in the history of golf in the United States.
