Brisbane to Melbourne suicide prevention small bike challenge saveamate.org
hello and I welcome you to read through and also check out Save A Mate via Facebook and Instagram.
Save A Mate has grown through the need for a grass roots happy adventure raisin for awareness for suicide prevention and mental health issues among our fellow humans.
I have pushed and pushed with my own findings utilising savings and annual leave through my current employment and have always held a view that money isn't a worthy barrier for raising awareness.
That said a small Save A Mate is self funded, it does draw heavily from my own funds and to make it more sustainable I'm asking folk for donations in keeping it alive.
It is making an impression. I have me to some wonderful people throughout my journeys and I have been able to help people realise the mateship around them.
If you like this adventure as much as I do then it would Be great if you could donate towards the sustainability of Save A Mate.
Any amount left over will be put towards Save A Mate becoming sustainable for years to come.
thank you for taking the time in reading this. Make sure you check out the website! saveamate.org or facebook @saveamate2017
and if you are not in the position to be able to donate then that is fine! Maybe you could help me another way..
I am still adding more photos to the short film called 'i care'.
If you would like to be a part of it/star in it! Then please film yourself anyway you like, either holding a sign saying I care, or you could say it verbally.
It will all be added to the film which will play online and also in the towns i am stationed in. This simple statement means a whole lot. In showing the world you care allows those in need the vision that ordinary people do care about them. And this is helpful in allowing people feel needed and wanted within our beautiful world.
