HELP ANGEL THE PUPPY FIGHT BONE CANCER
Paws of Love Animal Rescue saved Angel and her sister from being put to sleep in a country pound. We brought them all the way from Mudgee to Melbourne, got rid of their worms and fleas and put them on treatment for mange.
They have been thriving in foster care and were almost ready for adoption when Angel hurt her leg. When it didn't improve, x-rays and a biopsy confirmed our greatest fear. Not even nine months old, Angel has aggressive bone cancer.
A couple of days ago, Angel had her left foreleg and shoulder joint amputated. It was the only way to remove the cancer. It was an enormous surgery but she is a remarkable puppy and recovering well. Angel will stay in the care of Paws of Love as a forever foster and get whatever she needs to have quality, pain free time and be loved for as long as she can.
