Hi, my name is Zoey. My friends call me Zo-Bear. I'm more than just a dog, I'm a family member. I've been through thick and thin, a constant source of love, loyalty, and adventure. Now, faced with a heartbreaking diagnosis, I need your help to give me the chance I have earned.

Zoey's Unwavering Love

Zoey is a dog unlike any other. She's adventurous, always eager to explore new trails and discover hidden treasures. Her boundless energy is contagious, and so is her unconditional love for our family.

For Mama- Zoey has been a rock. She's been there through the toughest emotional challenges, providing comfort and companionship when words were inadequate. Zoey's presence helped navigate the demanding waters of graduate school and even earned an honorary "Dogtorate" of Human Therapy.

When one of the most tragic things occurred (cancer, then death of a very close grandfather) Zoey offered solace during the particularly difficult loss. Mom being a healthcare worker in the pandemic was crazy. Every night in the early days were so hard. Combined with our living conditions, the panic of often change, and the pandemic Zoey was mom's emotional support animal. Under no condition was Zoey not there for her in her need- total exhaustion, then comfort.

For Dad, Zoey has always been a constant. A simple cuddle or a comforting "middle" can turn a bad day around. Her unwavering support has been a source of strength and joy. The tug of wars, unlimited fetch, and limitless outdoor adventures have been ways to express my love. She's been there through all of the new and unknown, supportive of each job I take, there always at the end of the day.

For my new human Baby sis- at first, Zoey was very nervous and scared of the change in our lives. Now, baby sis is Zoey's best friend. Sis is the first thing Zoey looks for in the morning. When doing the family check she makes sure baby is there and well taken care of. My favorite thing is to play with all of my toys together and get so many, many treats :)

A Heartbreaking Diagnosis

Recently, we received devastating news: Zoey has been diagnosed with cancer. After a tough surgery and process, the only treatment option available is an expensive radiation therapy. We've already incurred significant costs, but Zoey is worth every penny and more. She deserves a chance to fight this disease.
