My son has done a great job raising a pig for his FFA program since January.

We are two days from auction and wanting desperately to save her life. Pigs (we have recently learned) can live up to 20 years. They are intelligent; they react to treats and people's voices who know her and to hearing their names called. She smiles and has a great personality—always up for an adventure. We just don't want her next adventure to be to a meat market.

If you would like to donate, the FFA student will keep his earnings and any profit will go to our local animal shelter. Please help Ziglet live a long life and help our neighborhood keep a friend (not food).
