Save Zephyr, Emily's Medical Alert Companion

I have set up this GoFundMe to help raise money for treatment of my sister's service dog and companion, Zephyr.
Emily has had Zephyr for 3 years and raised him from a puppy, training him herself to be her service and medical alert animal for her Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).
At the beginning of October, she made a move to a new workplace, leaving behind her summer job and a place she and her dog had grown fond of.
Within the next few days, Zephyr began showing signs of (what appeared to be) depression. Making the reasonable assumption that he would just need some time to get over his sadness at leaving his friends, Emily just continued trying to get him to eat and drink and exercise enough as normal. Unfortunately over the next days his appetite fell off completely and then he stopped drinking water without vomiting it up.
Over the last few days, he has made a few visits to vets to receive fluids and then this afternoon, he took a sudden dive. Seemingly his kidneys went into distress. This has ended him up at an emergency vet, where Emily has been told he may either have an infection, pancreatitis or cancer, and more tests will be necessary. He is being held overnight, which means she is staying there as well. The cost of all this is already several thousand dollars and will likely only increase tomorrow. These are funds she currently does not have, but she is not willing to let money stop her from saving her closest companion and support.
We ask that you do whatever you can, and please share with everyone you know to get this as much traction as possible. Thank you.
