Save Zena: Emergency Surgery Fund

Donation protected
Hello everyone, this is my furry baby, life saver, and emotional support dog, Zena. I am trying to raise money for an emergency surgery that she had to have due to a severe tail infection that led to sepsis very rapidly. I took her to the vet for immediate medical attention a few days ago when she had swelling in her tail. She seemed to be getting better, eating more, using the bathroom regularly, and wanting lots of attention and love. A few days passed and the skin on her tail started deteriorating and looked to be necrotic (dead), which led to the ligaments in her tail being exposed. My mom and I immediately took her to MSU emergency vet. She had to have emergency surgery to have her tail amputated. The only other option would have been to euthanize her. In my mind, this was not an option at all! She is a part of the family and is loved by everyone who meets her, even the vet staff couldn't get enough of her loving and affectionate personality.

I am currently entering my first semester of nursing school and my finances are very tight as a student. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference to help us cover the cost of the surgery and recovery. Thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
