I'm Khaled El Nimer, the father of Fadi, Lama, Wael and Aboud, also the uncle of Zeina.
Zeina is 17 years old, from Gaza City has Lafora Disease which is a rare condition. Her condition worsened significantly because of the intense bombardment. Due to unavailability of medications in Gaza, Zeina's family was able to switch epilepsy medication, but it's not as effective. Zeina's mom shared, "there is nothing in pharmacies...There is no clean place here. We eat with the lids of cans and I am careful when using them so as not to harm her. Everything is bad... Anyone who can help us and follow Zeina's topic, please."
Her entire family has been bombed and they evacuated their home. They have been displaced into a shelter, where they are running out of anti-seizure medicine for Zeina. They only have enough to get her through this Thursday. Her mom shared that Friday, she doesn’t know what to do.
They're all in Gaza in the meantime. I'm currently facing challenges moving my family out of the danger to a safe place. I used to lead an honorable life in Gaza, where I used to own a major business before the war started. However, during the events, we lost our home and my business was also bombed. Coincidently, I was away from Gaza before October 7th, however my family including my children, my brother and my nephews are still in great danger.
That's why I hope I succeed to provide for my family, with your help what they need to leave death city to Cairo, which costs USD 10,000 per person, to be paid to the people at the Rafah boarder as a fee. It's a family of 13 and we can't leave anyone behind, I must save all of them indiscriminately.
I really wish with your help we can save helpless souls that did nothing wrong but existing there.
