Zainab's son Ajmal desperately rang our call centre asking for help. He had stumbled upon our department after going through several other organisations that could not help with their situation.
His mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer and requires chemotherapy to try and combat it. Unfortunately, they are from a very poor background and do not have the funding's to pay for this.
A colleague of ours has visited and assessed their situation in the hospital and has confirmed the validity of this claim. They truly are from a poverty driven background and have exhausted all of their savings and options to pay for the treatments until now.
