My cat Zack Morris aka Mew chewed a couple of Lilly leaves and I’m devastated. He is at the animal hospital right now and they are saying he needs to be hospitalized for 48 hours with IVs, multiple blood draws, and observation to ensure he survives. It’s $2000 I asked about 24 hours although it’s against recommendation and they said it’s still $1500. I cannot afford that however the alternative is his kidneys will fail and he will die in 3-5 days. The vet said even with 24 hours of treatment- the risk of his kidneys failing is still a high risk. I am begging you- please help. Anything will help. You don’t understand how much I love this cat and my heart is absolutely crushed into pieces right now. I have to call them in the AM with a plan or I will have to pay what I owe and pick him up… and then wait till he passes.
