Update on Yve’s Diagnosis & Treatment

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, shared, and prayed for little Yve. Your support has meant everything to the Elisan-Jacinto family during the most frightening time of their lives.

We want to share an important update with full transparency. After further testing, Yve’s doctors determined that her initial diagnosis of aplastic anemia was incorrect. She has now been officially diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. While heartbreaking, this diagnosis comes with a clear treatment path — chemotherapy — and her doctors are starting it as soon as possible.

Because the treatment plan has changed, the cost has also changed. The family now needs an additional $3,000 to cover the first phase of Yve’s chemotherapy. We did not expect to increase the fundraiser, but we want to make sure Yve gets the timely care she needs to fight this disease.
