Hello everyone, My name is Kerry and I own and run The Grazing Goat Cafe located inside The bucks Goat Centre

Our little café has been a warm, welcoming spot for locals, workers, families, and passers-by. We’ve poured our hearts into building a place that supports jobs, brings people together, and adds life to our community. But right now, we’re facing a challenge that we simply cannot overcome on our own.

How HS2 and the New Road Layout Have Left Us Invisible

Over the past months, the ongoing HS2 works and repeated road closures have had a devastating impact on our café. At first, we tried to adapt — but the latest change has pushed us to the brink.

We’ve now been told that we are not allowed to use our old signs on the newly redirected road, even though it’s the only route customers can now use to reach us. Without signage, we’re practically hidden from view. No passing trade. No footfall. No visibility.

Because of this, we’re losing over £700 every single week — a loss we simply can’t sustain.

No Support, Nowhere to Turn

We’ve reached out for help, but HS2 will not assist us, and we do not have the financial ability to purchase the new signage required. The costs are beyond our reach, but without it, we fear we won’t be here much longer.
