Hello, I am Yahya Abu Amsha, 32 years old, married, my wife's name is Marwa, I have two daughters, a four-month-old girl named Ibtisam and a two-year-old girl named Razan, and I am from Gaza City.
I want to share with you what I and my family have been through.
I have always worked hard to take care of my family and make sure they have food on the table, I used to work in music and I used to play the piano and I had a band and my daily income and livelihood and household expenses came from playing the organ.
Life was not easy for us. We faced many challenges, especially financially. As the father of the family, I felt a great responsibility to help them.
In October of last year, everything in my life changed.
The city was devastated, our homes were destroyed, our streets were in chaos, and no one was able to work because of the destruction.
Jobs disappeared overnight, my musical instrument was destroyed, I couldn’t find a way to support my family anymore, there was no playing anymore, everything was destroyed. At the same time, we left our homes as we were asked to and moved to shelters, and shortly after that we were displaced to areas where there was no life. We had no choice but to live in these areas in the Mawasi of Khan Younis.
Life in the shelters was difficult. We didn’t have enough water, food, or fuel. Those were the hardest days we had ever been through.
But I didn’t give up and kept going hoping for a better future for me, my family, and my young children who were deprived of having what any child in the world gets, and I am very sad for my children and not being able to secure what they need. I knew that the road ahead of me would not be easy, but I was ready to face it. With strong will and faith, I believed that tomorrow would be better. We can't believe that a year has passed and we are still fighting for humanity. Now I ask for your help. If you can, donate to support me to rebuild my life and support my family and provide my children with diapers, milk and daily sustenance and provide other families with what they are suffering. Every bit makes a difference. Donate to save my children from the least needs that any child in the world can get. Direct donation to us helps us much more than waiting for larger campaigns that are often hindered by the occupation.
