Hello! I’m Jesus. I’m a broke college kid with a badly injured dog. Her name is Xochitl and she’s a small chihuahua mix with really bad wounds around her right front leg. She was attacked by some wild animal that has been notoriously ripping the heads off of our chickens. We found her the next day in our neighbors yard with those wounds. We went to the vet and they told us that the wounds are really deep, and surgery would run about $3,000. Me and my family are not in the greatest space financially so there’s no way we can pay it. The vet recommended we make a gofundme so here I am. All we want to do is help our old lady dog live as long as she can.

We adopted her and her sister (Itzel) in August of 2018. They were the most adorable puppies and the best dogs for me and my siblings. I was around 11 when we got them so I’ve become super attached. Not only me, but my youngest brother, Ezekiel, was a littler older that one when we got them so he practically grew up with them. They’ve been the best protectors for our chicken farm and we love them very much.
