THE BACK STORY
HI!! My name is Laurie, and I am creating this fund for my very dear friend, Xavier Pierre, who I lovingly refer to as Xave. I have known Xave for over 30 years. He is single and a dad who is kind, giving, and approaches everyone with a smile and an intense inner need to make the life of each person he meets better. Xave is fearlessly and humbly fighting for his life against lung cancer. He sadly lost both his parents to cancer in one year. Xave lovingly stood by them and was heartbroken as they each lost their battles with cancer in the same year. Now he is unfairly forced to fight this fight again, but now - for himself. Unfortunately, because of his sickness, he finds himself in desperate need of money to take care of his badly needed medical supplies and daily living expenses. Xave’s life has touched many , but none so much as his children. Xave is the father of 3 lovely daughters : Annabelle-9, Abigail-11, and Naomi -22.They love and depend on him, and are understandably affected by this terrible turn of events. No child should have to go through what these girls have to go through now. Naomi is a US marine who valiantly serves our country and because of this, is unable to be by her fathers side. Xave loves Naomi dearly and is extremely proud of her. It is a more difficult fight without her here. So you see, I do this, not only for Xave but also with his children in my heart and mind.
The Costs
Xave had recently started a business transporting puppies to their forever homes and offering training modules to new pet owners. Unfortunately this very new venture had left Xave with no insurance. Please help us cover the cost of medical expenses and every day expenses. I am told that presently it costs $800.00 / week in medical supplies to keep my friend alive! Xave is now broke and is now very close to being evicted. He has applied for Medicaid and his treatment has been limited until it is approved. Though unfortunately, many expenses are also not covered by Medicaid. Please help.
How Can You Help ?
Your prayers are desired and needed. Also, Please give what you can and help save my very special friend who has helped to make my life what it is today and is a very dedicated parent and member of any community he belongs to as well as the ones that he doesn’t.
