Hi everyone,

Wooka needs emergency surgery for a large tumor we just discovered, as well as worsening chronic issues. We don't know if the tumor has spread or not but the vet has expressed concern.

He's also been having seizures inconsistently for about 1.5 years now (which I've tracked and monitored as advised) but his last seizure was really intense and he fainted thirty minutes later (I was terrified, I thought I was losing him then and there. It was 3am but luckily I'm a light sleeper and the urgent care vet talked me through everything on a call).

Thankfully, he had a vet appointment already scheduled for that day. The vet found the tumor quickly and expressed further concerns about his seizures.

I've been trying to raise money for his more involved medical care, but these last couple years I've had unexpected emergency after unexpected emergency- so even when I've started savings/emergency funds, they haven't lasted long.

Wooka means the world to me. He has so much love, energy and sass even in his old age (15) and I'm trying to do everything I can to give him the same love and support he's given me since taking him in. I just want him to be okay.

His hospital treatments are estimated at around $3,000, (not including medication refills or follow up procedures) I have a hard time asking for help, but I don't want Wooka to be in any more pain and I don't know what else to do I love him so, so much and I don't want to lose him.

He's on antibiotics for his chronic conditions, but without this surgery, he might not stay with me for much longer... he deserves better than that and also... honestly, I don't know what I'd do.

I'm extremely hopeful we can save him together- and quickly- with a safe recovery.
