Help Save Sweet Winnie’s Life – Emergency Trachea Surgery Needed

Hi everyone,

My name is Carly, and I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my little sister, Cristi, who is truly one of the most loving and selfless people I know. She’s been doing everything she can to save the life of her sweet pup, Winnie — but she can’t do it alone anymore.

Winnie’s story is not for the faint of heart. Raised in a loveless puppy mill, overbred within her first few years more than any dog should be in a lifetime, and discarded once her body could not tolerate anymore. Her back legs were broken, and her sternum was kicked in, prior to her horrible abusers tossing her to the side of the road, left for dead.

Little Winnie was found, dragging herself down the road, fighting for her chance of a better life. After all of the unthinkable acts that humans brought upon her, when rescued, Winnie had a smile on her face and a wag in her tail.

Winnie isn’t just a dog — she’s family.

She’s my sister’s baby, her shadow, her heart. She has brought so much light and love into all of our lives, and now she needs us to fight for her.

Winnie has been suffering from a collapsed trachea. Despite every effort — emergency vet visits, medication, oxygen therapy, and endless sleepless nights — her condition has worsened. At this point, the only chance to save Winnie’s life is an emergency trachea surgery.

The cost of surgery is overwhelming.

My sister has already spent tens of thousands on care just trying to keep Winnie stable. She’s exhausted every resource, emotionally and financially. But this surgery is her last hope. Without it, Winnie won’t survive.

We’re asking for help to cover:

• Trachea surgery costs

• Post-surgical care and hospitalization

• Medications and oxygen support

Winnie has so much life and love left to give.
