Donate to save William, 10-year-old fighting bone cancer

“My 10-year-old son William has a rare and aggressive cancer. I promised him I would save him with AI. Please help me keep that promise.”

Who is William?
William is 10 years old. He dreams of becoming a basketball player. He loves to laugh, to play video games, and to imagine stories where he's always the hero. He’s a kind, clever, and funny little boy who should be worrying about his next school project — not about cancer.

But today, William is fighting for his life.

The diagnosis : osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer
In late 2024, after weeks of unexplained leg pain, William was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an extremely aggressive and rare form of bone cancer that mostly affects children and teenagers.

The news shattered our world.

I promise him to save him, and to communicate about his rare cancer. I made a Song.

Osteosarcoma usually develops in the bones of the legs or arms. Treatment is brutal: a combination of intense chemotherapy and surgery to remove the tumor. If it recurs, life expectancy can be between 1 and 3 years. That’s our daily nightmare.

Weekly chemotherapy and a long road ahead
Since the diagnosis, William has undergone weekly chemotherapy sessions. Every visit to the hospital is filled with anxiety. The treatments are harsh, and the side effects are severe.

After the surgery to remove the tumor, two surgical staples were removed… and left behind two open, painful holes in his leg. These wounds are now wide and deep. To prevent infection and clean out impurities, William must wear a drainage device that vibrates every 30 seconds. It’s uncomfortable and noisy — and a constant reminder of the pain he's enduring.

We go to the hospital every week. We see him lose strength, we see the fear in his eyes. But we also see courage.

William will never be able to play basketball again. The operation has left him disabled, and he will need years of physical therapy to regain basic mobility.

His birthday is this April… help us give him the gift of hope
William turns 11 in April.

We want to give him more than a party. We want to give him a future.

We want to offer him the gift of hope — hope that science will move faster, that researchers can discover better treatments, that other children won’t have to suffer like he does.

That’s why I started MedicBrain.

MedicBrain : using AI to accelerate pediatric cancer research
I am a parent, but I’m also a tech expert. I believe in the power of artificial intelligence to make a difference in medicine. I launched MedicBrain, a research initiative to create AI-powered tools that can help doctors, scientists, and families better understand rare diseases and find treatments faster.

I created a podcast on Spotify to explain complex medical research and how AI can be used by researchers and clinicians. You can listen to it here:

With your support, we can help William today and save more children tomorrow.

What will your donation be used for?
Every donation — no matter how small — will directly support William’s care and our mission to fight pediatric cancer:

Medical treatments that will probably not covered by insurance because we don't know the handicap he will have on his leg.

Specialized therapies and wound care

Transport to and from the hospital every week

Birthday surprise and daily care support
edit: William tell me he don't want donation for his self comfort.

Continued development of the MedicBrain platform to help research, i know one of the professor who discover VIH and he extensively using AI to write scientific paper and he can teach me to share knowledge or use AI for diagnostic with AI.

Tools for doctors and researchers to fight osteosarcoma with AI and other cancer or disease, like autism, and all diseases without solution.

If we exceed our goal, the extra funds will go toward research and helping other families facing similar battles.

Help us fight for his life
William is fighting like a superhero. But he can’t do it alone.

We need your help — to ease his pain, to support his care, and to bring hope through MedicBrain.

If you can, please donate. If you can’t, please share this page with others. Every action matters. Thanks

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing by William.
