Save Wiener King

My father, who started Wiener King along with my dearly departed mother in 1976, was secretly removed from our home and placed into a nursing facility by my meddling sisters. He has been in there while I've been fighting to bring him home. Sadly, the costs of keeping him in there are staggering; and the Probate Judge is recommending the sale of the restaurant. As those close to me know, the restaurant was failing when I took over for my father. At the time, my sisters emphatically tried to convince me to just walk away, and sell the property. Instead, I pulled up my bootstraps and threw my heart and soul into saving this local landmark. With the help of my neighbors, friends/customers, we were successful in bringing this struggling business back to life. I have worked beside my mother and father at Wiener King for nearly all of the 40 plus years of operation. That dedication has left me in a precarious situation. The only qualifying years of Social Security earnings came when I briefly worked out of state in the '80s, leaving me with no income should I retire. In other words, Wiener King is my life-blood, and only source of income. Asking for help is something that is very difficult for me to do. But, these desperate times require desperate measures.
