Save Walter White (the cat)
Donation protected
The aptly named Walter White (no drug trade involved) has developed pseudomembranous cystitis after an unexpected bladder blockage that occurred back in June. He is being treated at Angell Memorial in Boston and the care he is receiving is extraordinary, but expensive.
He isn’t able to pass urine independently and has a urinary catheter in place. Due to the amount of sedation necessary to keep my very active boy calm, he has stopped eating and had an NG (feeding tube) placed this morning.
While I am impressed with his diligent and dedicated team, veterinary care is expensive and has cost me about 15K at this time (insurance should cover some of that, but it is still in review). I am asking for any little bit you can spare to help cover the cost to keep Walter alive and well. There is a 50/50 chance he may still need surgery, which will be another very high expense.
Walter is not even four years old and is the sweetest and most gentle boy I could possibly imagine. A life without him is not something I’m willing to consider.
I value and appreciate the time and consideration you’ve taken to read this and hope you can spare anything to help save my fur baby.
