Dear Vitru friends and family –
Vitru was founded in 2017 as a milestone step in a lifelong vision. It was built by hand with the help of friends and family, and we’ve had fun all the way; it’s become a second home for myself, my wife and our daughter Frankie, our incredible staff and clients and of course, Woday. We work out together, we laugh together, we challenge ourselves to be better humans – and most importantly, now more than ever – we stay healthy together.
That said, these are nearly unprecedented times, and we have temporarily shuttered our doors due to the very necessary measures taken by the state in consideration of the Covid-19 health crisis.
The closure has given us time to consider the road ahead, and to be creative (we are offering virtual one-on-one or small group training on your platform of choice, and Instagram live classes and tutorials). But like still-growing businesses that rely on steady foot traffic, and our beloved gym as a space, we find ourselves in a vulnerable position.
I remain confident that we will figure out a way to keep the physical space afloat; however as we navigate the uncertainty ahead, I am reaching out to ask for your support in making a donation that will be instrumental in covering associated carrying costs we cannot maintain realistically in the days ahead.
This donation will go directly toward (in this order):
Front desk and cleaning staff
Personal trainers and physical therapist
Rent and equipment payments
