Please help the veterans!
The Mineville VFW Post 5802 has been an historic part of our community for many years. It was built in 1893 by the Witherbee/Sherman families. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been mandated to be closed to any type of function thus eliminating our ability to raise any funds. Unfortunately, the bills still need to be paid.
Many of you have fond memories of events held at the VFW, formerly Memorial Hall. Many of you have enjoyed weddings, alumni banquets, parties, and many other celebrations not to mention all the patriotic holidays that have been hosted at this beautiful building.
COVID-19 has taken so much, please don’t let it close this crucial landmark of our community. Your donation will go directly to paying the ongoing bills of the VFW and helping to keep this building open.
Please consider donating to this worthy cause and please contact us for other ways to help!
