Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,
with you Hana Mostafa. Lalyla Mustafa ist my cousin. Layla want to share her Story with you, and I hope you can take a little of your time to read her story and help her if you can.
My Name is Layla Mustafa, A mother of two children. We lived in a happy family consisting of four people, me, my husband, and having two children.
I was working -before the war- online for a Saudi company in the field of marketing and training beginners to start trading on their own Unfortunately, I lost my entire job because it depends on Internet networks, and the infrastructure was completely destroyed, and I have not received any salary since the last six months.
My husband Diaa, does not work under the conditions of the siege and the lack of sufficient job opportunities.
Zeina is four years old She has a beautiful smile. She has many dreams of becoming a doctor and has a passion for drawing and coloring.
Mohammed, who is five years old, he has high intelligence. He suffers from severe anemia, which is a carrier of thalassemia, and requires special medications and food. His blood test reached 4, and the tests were repeated more than once due to the doctors’ shocking at how he was alive. He stayed in the hospital for more than a week, and a donation For blood was made for him. From several people with blood units, but he clings to life and has dreams of helping everyone. He is very ambitious and proactive in doing good since his childhood. He loves helping his friends in kindergarten. He used to collect money and buy them sweets and distribute them to them. He began taking his first steps in the life of education. He was registered in kindergarten, but the joy was not complete due to the events of October 7. Because of the damned war, we suffered a lot.

Mohammed suffers from anemia and suffered many diseases Reagan, chronic sensitivity spread all parts of his body
Dr. advised me to take him to the sea to swim and ease the heking and slaughter Sea water relieves pain.

War Day, October 7 last year:
We woke up on October 7 to several explosions that shook the entire city of Beit Lahia, specifically in northern Gaza. We were forcibly displaced by the Israeli army to another area inside northern Gaza, without clothes and without the minimum necessities of life.
We moved to my mother’s house, but unfortunately, my family’s house was bombed with severe force, and we fled on foot due to the lack of money to save our lives and the lives of our children.
I received news of the martyrdom of many of my relatives, my husband’s relatives, and my mother. I was forcibly displaced to the south of the city of Khan Yunis, alone with my children, without my husband, for fear of killing the men for no reason. I suffered a lot, and along the way the tears did not dry, out of grief for my children and out of fear for them from the explosions that were shaking throughout the Gaza Strip. Especially in the crossing area between north and south, in my right hand is Zeina and in my left hand is Mohammed, and on my shoulder is a small bag containing my university and official papers, and on my back is a bag of toys. Unfortunately, it was thrown away by the Israeli army, and the screaming of my children did not affect them at all. We crossed without clothes, without money, without the minimum necessities of life.
On the December of last year, the Israeli Defense Forces repeatedly called and evacuated the house in which I sought refuge only to be bombarded with artillery and several missiles. My children and I were sleeping on the ground in the winter without covers and without providing the basics of life. We quickly escaped from death and miraculously survived for the third time.
We moved to the city of Rafah, and unfortunately there are no words to describe part of our damned daily suffering:
- Extreme hunger
- expensive living conditons
- Water Pollution
- The spread of insects in the tent in which my family, and my relatives live
- There is no availability of clothes or shoes for my children
- There was no place to turn to. Doors were closed on all sides We did not receive any financial assistance.
- We rented a small 4x4 tent for a monthly sum of money.
our number more than 27 people in the same tent, including women, children, and the elderly.
- The spread of diseases and a shortage of medicines and treatments.
This tent of mine is shared between me and my family. The pictures show the location of the bathroom, the place to use water and laundry, and also the fire pot. Our daily life is suffering with a severe shortage of clean water for drinking and clean water for bathing. Unfortunately, the tent is not free. We pay rent to the owner of the place.
My children suffer from several diseases, including hepatitis, frequent colds, and skin diseases such as allergic eczema due to their direct exposure to sunlight. We did not die from the war, but we die a thousand times every day from what we suffer from a severe shortage of the basics of life and a feeling of helplessness of not being able to provide anything for my children, from clothes to food, to buying toys to entertain them, due to chronic psychological depression and their collapse as a result of hearing the explosions that shake all parts of the city that We currently live there .

- All of My Family Names Added to Allowed-To-Exist lists.
- (Estimated 42k to 47K USD)
- Exiting From Gaza is Unlike Other parts of the world.
- In most places, you just pack your bags, head to the airport or border, and you're good to go
- But in Gaza, it's different, The only way to flee out of Gaza is through the Rafah crossing point with Egypt.
- However, it's not as simple as it sounds. To make it happen, we have to pay what's called "coordination fees" to get the names on the allowed-to-exit lists.
These fees can be as high as (5000- 7000) USD per person .
- The money will be paid to a travel agency in Egypt called Hala, and it's the only way to get my family's names on the list so they can be allowed to travel.
- Travel expenses through Egypt.
- Once the names are added to the allowed-to-exit lists, the family will need around 100 USD per person to reach out safely to Cairo.
