- Friends, I am asking for your help for a group of amazing people in Ukraine. February 24, 22 changed the lives of not only people but also animals living in Ukraine. Many cities and towns have been under constant shelling and bombing by the Russian Federation for more than 3 months now. Countless animals were left without their owners who lost their lives or fled Ukraine due to the war. Numerous animals have suffered burns and other life threatening injuries. Help is required for both domestic and wild animals affected by the war. The people left in territories where the war is going on have neither food nor medicine to take care of all the animals in need.
- From the first days of the war, Lena (veterinarian), Lisa and Yura (Ukraine citizens and animal lovers) began taking care of injured animals who lost their owners. They have since organized a warehouse where they collect medicine and food for animals that they then distribute throughout Ukraine. Without their help, many animals will die of hunger, injuries or disease. They are in dire need of financial assistance to continue purchasing food and medicine to take care of these helpless animals.
