Starting For my friend who is in desperate need of assistance for vetinary bills for an unexpected medical case for her precious kitten, Tunç (Toonch)
Monica adopted Tunç from a local rescue organization in Pennsylvania. He came from a litter of nine kittens, who were not cared for at all, from a hoarder home. Tunç is just four months old.
Monica was on a family vacation for the holidays. They tried to go away as a family for many years but could never get everyone together so this was the year! While Monica was away, her cat sitter made her aware that Tunç was acting strange so the sitter took him to his usual vet. There was no diagnosis and they were sent home.
Two days later a neighbor stopped in to check on the kitten and knew immediately he had to go to for medical attention. At the vet, they were told to go to the ER. Tunç has an overnight stay and an ultrasound and the diagnosis of FIP (Feline Infectious Peritontis) was given. Then the lil guy had to have fluid drained from his belly.
Monica wanted to change her flight and come home early but with the surprise medical bills and having to pay the sitter and neighbor for transportation, the cost of a changed flight was not an option.
At minimum, he will be on medication for 84 days.
The emergency medical costs are at 4,000. Monica does not want to have to put her kitten down but she cannot afford these herself.
Please consider donating, Tunç is the most playful and brave kitten ever. He is sweet and loving. Anything is appreciated. Thank you
