Save Tuna: Aid for Vet Care and Nutrition

Hello everyone! This is Tuna (cutest name ever, I know). I recently rescued this sweet angel from death row this past Saturday. He was rescued by the shelter back in January when he was found abandoned in a backyard with puncture wounds. He has since then healed fully. We don’t know why he was on death row at the shelter, as he is quite literally the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. He just needed someone to give him a chance. All he wants to do is love you and be near you.

I stumbled across a post urgently asking for a foster because he was scheduled to be euthanized on Friday. I frantically searched for someone to take him but found no one. So I decided to step up and take him in my small college apartment. He is with me now and safe. However, we need your help!

I am a college student so my funds are very limited. He has had some gastrointestinal issues since coming here, including bloody stool, probably due to all the stress of being moved around and changes in diet. He is also very skinny, bare bones.

I am trying to raise money to help Tuna become himself again. He has gone through so much and he deserves a community to love him and take care of him. I am doing everything I can but I can’t afford it all. I’m already stretching my funds as it is.

I need money to take him to the vet to make sure he is okay, and to feed him quality food to help him gain weight.
