Help Save Tuffy’s Life — Emergency Surgery Needed

My sweet dog Tuffy urgently needs emergency surgery to remove a severely enlarged kidney. Right now, the vets are not sure what is causing the enlargement. They are concerned it could lead to sepsis or possibly the spread of cancer if surgery is not done quickly.

Tuffy has been very sick. He cannot eat, has been running a fever, vomiting, and is in a lot of pain because the kidney has become so swollen.

The total needed for surgery and related medical fees is $3500.

Tuffy is a tiny Shih Tzu/Lhasa mix with the heart of a giant dog. He truly thinks he’s “tough,” even though he’s little. He loves running outside, playing, and being close to the people he loves. He has been my loyal companion through some of the darkest days of my life.

I honestly cannot imagine losing him.

This is especially difficult because I am already going through a lot. May is also the anniversary month of my son that passed away and losing Tuffy this month is just unbearable. He has been one of the few things helping me keep going emotionally.

I never thought I would have to ask for help like this, but I am doing everything I can to save him.
