Save Trudy's Leg: Urgent Surgery Needed
Donation protected
Hello my name is Kaylee and this is Trudy's story.
The neighbors and the neighbors dogs were out. We let our dogs out because we were working on the pool. Thank God we were outside otherwise Trudy wouldn't be here. Trudy was running the fence all excited, like dogs do. She runs fast and hard!! She got snagged up by the bolt holding the gate hinge, which caused her to crash, hard, into the gate post, which caused the many bone breaks. We thought the bolt cut an artery because she lost so much blood. Glen immediately put pressure on the cut while our neighbor called the vet, we use the same vet. Thank God she was out there too and had her wits because I lost mine.
Vet stopped the bleeding and stitched her up, put on a splint. We have to take her to a specialist for surgery. If surgery can't help, her leg will need to be amputated. Say prayers plz.
My Trudy never left my side when I was fighting cancer. She has to be ok! We won't know when the surgery is until Monday, at the earliest. Anything helps, please share.
