Thank you for considering making a donation to my sweet kitty companion Topanga as she is fighting kidney disease.

Topanga has been my ride or die for much of my adult life. She has seen me through all life's ups and downs. Together we have lived in 4 states, had countless adventures, and lets face it--she has outlasted all the heart aches, bumps and bruises that life doles out, comforting me through it all.

Around 4 years ago her kidneys went through an episode like this and she was close to not making it through. If it wasn't for hospitalization to hydrate her kidneys 24/7 for 3-5 days, she wouldn't be here all these years later. I am grateful that I was in the financial place then to make it happen and share these years with her.

Unfortunately as a film industry worker, I have faced hard financial times these past few years like many of my wonderful colleagues. I do not have the means for her current care needs and time is of the essence.

I am so grateful to my friends and family who have graciously donated and aided in starting her care. However to help this little fighter pull through, I will need to hospitalize her for multiple days. She has currently had a day (not including the recommended night care) of fluids and care.

Much like the song from Spamalot, she is "Not Dead Yet". Just yesterday she killed a mouse from her fleece-of-rest.
