Help Tony Get Emergency Medical Care
This is Tony—our sweet 3-year-old “feral” cat who we rescued back in September. From the moment we brought him into our lives, he became so much more than a rescue—he became family. My five kids and I absolutely adore him. He’s loving, playful, quirky, and has brought so much comfort and joy into our home.
Tony is an indoor/outdoor cat, fully vaccinated and neutered, and usually pretty street-smart. But recently, something terrible happened. We’re not entirely sure how, but it looks like he got caught on a fence and suffered a devastating injury—an entire section of his skin was torn away. There are no obvious puncture wounds or bites, but the wound is large, raw, and deeply concerning.
Despite his injury, Tony is still eating, using the litter box, and resting as best he can. He even let me gently clean the area and apply a cat-safe antibiotic spray. But I know he needs emergency veterinary care ASAP to prevent infection and give him the best chance at healing properly.
The estimate I received for his care is around $4,000, possibly more if complications arise. As much as it hurts me to admit, I just don’t have the funds to cover this kind of unexpected expense right now. I’m doing everything I can, but I need help.
If you’re able to donate—even just a little—it would mean the world to me, to my kids, and especially to Tony. If you can’t donate, sharing this is just as appreciated. Every bit of support matters, and we are so incredibly grateful for any kindness you can offer.
(And I’m sorry for the graphic photo—I just wanted to show the urgency of Tony’s condition.)
Thank you so much for reading, caring, and helping us get our boy the help he needs.
With love,
Danielle & the kids
