Save Tom: Stray Cat Needs Urgent Surgery

Hi everyone, this is Tom. He is an extremely sweet boy who was unfortunately a stray. He is fixed, and very social, so he was likely once very loved. He wandered into our yard, and we couldn’t just leave him in the condition he was in. He needs a dental operation to save his life. Not only are his teeth infected, but they are causing him to be unable to eat. He weighs only 6 pounds as a full grown adult cat. He is happy and strong and wanting to fight. He is otherwise healthy. The vet says he has a very good chance to have many more years, as long as he gets this operation. Unfortunately he couldn’t have come to us at a worse time financially. I cannot afford this operation whatsoever, with recently getting my own place and being a young college student. The sad truth is without this operation he will not live much longer. Tom deserves to live out his senior years being a spoiled indoor only cat. No senior cat should have to live on the streets as he has been doing.
