Save Tobby: Urgent Surgery for Santi's Best Friend

I am starting this GoFundMe to help a very sweet dog who's in desperate need of surgery. His name is Tobby; he is 3 years old and is the sweetest, most disciplined, loving dog. He belongs to a young boy named Santi, who is 10 years old, and a family who loves him dearly. Since his arrival into this family's life, he has been a blessing for them, bringing peace and love into their home. At this moment, he is in critical condition, waiting for surgery. On Thursday, April 17th, the little boy Santi was taking his dog out on a walk after getting home from school. As he was walking Tobby, he was crossing the street to get back to his home. Out of nowhere, a car came down the street in their residential area at very high speed and ran over the dog. Without hesitation, the man fled the scene, leaving the dog lying there on the street. He was taken to an emergency vet hospital. The vet told the family he needs emergency surgery. Tobby's injuries are very critical. His hip is broken, and both his back legs are as well. He has a ruptured bladder from the car running him over. After he receives this surgery, he will need physical therapy and medications to control the pain. Tobby is currently kept at the vet ER for observations and to keep him as comfortable as they can. These serious injuries can lead to strong consequences if we don't get him the help he needs soon. The vet gave the family the option of putting him down or giving him up for adoption to a foundation that helps animals in cases like these where families can't afford the medical expenses. But this family shouldn't have to give up their dog. This little boy shouldn't have to lose his best friend. So I am on here making this post seeking help for this family, who are terrified of losing him if they don't get the medical help he needs. Any support and hope that you can give this family helps.
