Help Titan’s Recovery: His Biggest Adventure Yet
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
If you know us, you know how incredibly special our cat Titan is to us, and to everyone who gets to meet him. Yesterday, Titan was unable to urinate, and when I came home, he was still sitting in the litter box with only drops of pee coming out. After some quick research, I realized how serious the situation was and immediately rushed him to an emergency vet in San Marcos.
They acted quickly, as Titan had not been able to relieve himself all day, leading to severe damage if not treated immediately. They sedated him, inserted a catheter, and ran blood work, an ultrasound, and an X-ray. The vet told me that we caught it early, but they did find a couple of stones in his urinary tract which was concerning and discovered Titan also has a heart murmur. Because of these issues, they transferred him to a 24-hour veterinary specialist, where he will be monitored closely for the next 48 hours.
The vets are concerned that the stones won't pass on their own and that Titan will likely need emergency bladder surgery. The costs for all of this are mounting quickly, and any support, whether financial or emotional, would be greatly appreciated.
If you're unable to contribute financially, we ask that you please keep Titan in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Your prayers for his recovery mean the world to us. We want our adventure buddy back!
Thank you so much for your love and support!
With gratitude,
Ava, Zack & Titan
