Hello everyone. I do not like making these. Unfortunately I have fallen on hard times as of late. All my family members that were in my immediate household ae now gone and I am now stuck on social security disability. And even though I decided not to talk about what has happened to me, I've been trying to just live life for the now. Hopwever these past few month have been a very hard struggle. My mother died, and I've been working on the house to try and get it acceptable for room mates. This has been a long process. Trouble started at the end of December when over $600. was stolen from out of my bank account. I processed a complaint and had to reset my account, throw away old cards and get new one's plus log in security/fraud alerts. I had to go thro0ugh all January debating over paying bills or getting food for survival. This continued until February when my medication prices sky rocketed. The final straw that broke me was a flood in my basement during the last big rain storm due to roots growing in the main sewer line from the house to the city. It cost me almost 600 to pay for that. Now down to the reason for the gofundme. I have a slightly older kitty named Tinkerbell. she is a long haired, black beauty with a single white spot on her neck. Tinks has been with me since my birthday of 2011. She was a gift from my now deceased mother. Tinks has always been my cuddle bug and has been there for me during some of the hardest times in my life. She feels like my child. I know kitties do not have long to live, but I feel like she should still have some time left in her life to be my snuggle bug. After the flood I found Tinkerbell lathargic on my bed. She seems to have a cold because snot keeps falling from her nose. She tries to sneeze it out, but seems to have given up on that due to it now seems to always be hanging from her nose. When she sleeps, she can only breathe through her mouth. So she has begun to snore, very loud. She's stopped from grooming herself and her hair is starting to smell bad. I think she may have stepped in the flood water and picked up some sort of germ(s). I called the vet that I've been taking my cats too, only to find out an estimated checkup would start around $300. With lab work and meds it may be very pricey from there. So I set the goal for this gofundme at $600.
Please, if you can help out, I would be more than grateful. I do not want to loose my baby.
