UPDATE: BLESS YOU EVERYONE WHO DONATED! This boy has a crate, a collar, and a vet appointment tomorrow! I can't thank you guys enough for rallying the way you did! Humanity at its finest!

This poor boy will be picked up by county services as early as Monday unless we can raise funds to get him fully vetted. I was told by an officer that he would most likely be euthanized within days, if that. We already have two dogs and cannot bring him inside as he is covered in ticks and has mange. We are willing to foster, possibly adopt, or buy him whatever time we can until we can figure out something permanent, but we can't afford to responsibly take him in at this point. He is probably only a year old at most. He is a sweet boy but seems like he would make a good guard dog as well. He could be such a good boy if he was given a chance and a little training. I would hate to see his life cut short before it even really began. He needs a lot, however: all shots, tick treatment and prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, neutering, mange treatment, antibiotics I'm sure, and who knows what else. Please help if you can. We are also in need of a large dog crate if anyone can lend one.
