My sister Anne makes the best bagels in the world. Her company’s name is Whizzo Bagels. She sells her bagels at food coops and stores around Vermont and also ships them down to Boston. This is her business, how she makes a living, and she’s great at it. But yesterday her Hobart mixer of 11 years, the Iron Giant, died. She’s a proud, independent business woman who has been using her skills and artistry to support herself and her family for quite a while. When her community was suffering as a result of flooding in Vermont, she went door to door delivering bagels to her neighbors. She loves and helps her community. But now she needs our help!
