Help Marcel & Y Save Their Vacation Home!

Hello everyone,

We’re Marcel and Y, proud owners of what was once called a vacation home and is now more accurately described as an ongoing adventure project.

When we bought this little getaway, we imagined relaxing weekends, morning coffee on the terrace, and beautiful sunsets.

What we got instead was:

✅ A roof with "natural ventilation" (also known as leaks)

✅ Doors that only open when they feel like it

✅ A garden that appears to be competing with the Amazon rainforest

✅ Electrical wiring that may have witnessed several decades of history

✅ A never-ending list of "small jobs" that somehow keep multiplying overnight

Every time we repair one thing, the house kindly reveals three new surprises. It's like living in a home-improvement reality show, except nobody is paying us and there are no commercial breaks.

Despite all the challenges, we absolutely love this place. It has given us wonderful memories and has become a special retreat for family and friends. We would love to preserve it and make it safe, comfortable, and welcoming for many years to come.
