These are the smiles that changed our lives and our hearts. They are the smiles that reflect the beaming image of our joyful God. But without a regular dental team taking care of their teeth, the kids have not had sufficient dental care for several years...and it's starting to be painful. As someone who has had half a dozen root canals, I know experientially the agony of tooth decay. Thankfully I was able to scream and communicate my pain with words and had the resources to get care. Many of these kids do not have that ability or the resources. When I visited last year I got a glimpse of how big this need is, and I'm not going to stop sharing about it until we've raised every dollar we need to get their dental health costs covered.
