Friends, Family, and Grace fans world wide,
My little sister Grace turned 27 this past September. She had been enjoying her new bartending job in Boston surrounded by her best friends.
In mid-October, the stomach pain and nausea that Grace had been experiencing for several months landed her in the ER, where a CAT scan revealed several large masses on her liver. One week later, her reality was drastically and forever altered as she was diagnosed with metastatic Neuroendocrine Carcinoma, a rare and particularly aggressive form of cancer.
This daunting diagnosis obviously comes as a massive shock to Grace and our family. As Grace puts it, “Stage 4 cancer wasn't on my 2025 Bingo Card.” Grace is adored by her family and friends in every sense of the word. Affectionately nicknamed “the Wookie” by our family, we know her for her fierce intelligence, uncommon empathy, and lifelong mess of curly blonde hair. Wherever she goes, her quick wit and silly spirit never fails to leave a lasting impression. Her family and friends cannot imagine a world without their Wookie, which has made this sudden diagnosis so devastating.
Grace has already started to undergo chemotherapy and has a long, arduous road ahead in her fight against cancer. Due to the severity of her symptoms, she will be unable to return to work while in treatment, leaving her with no source of income for the foreseeable future. For these reasons, I am starting this GoFundme on Grace’s behalf to support her throughout this process. The funds raised here will be used to help cover her rent, health insurance, groceries, medical bills, and other living expenses.
Please consider lending Grace a helping hand by making a contribution. Every donation will go directly toward supporting Grace and will offer her some much needed relief. Any amount that you can offer is deeply appreciated.
