White Rabbit VR Arcade: Help Us Move to a Thriving Location

Who We Are:

The White Rabbit VR Arcade is a family entertainment center in Des Moines, Iowa, focused on providing cutting edge virtual reality experiences like VR Escape Rooms, VR Haunted Houses and our VR Arena with haptic suits and the ability to use your own hands to interact with the virtual world. We use the best of what VR can offer (not the $200 headsets you can buy at Walmart), to provide a new, safe and easy way to have fun and create memories with your friends and family.

Why We Need Your Help:

We have been in Merle Hay Mall for 4.5 years solely because they said they were going to transform themselves from a dying mall into an entertainment destination by building a sports/entertainment arena, onsite hotel and more. None of that never happened. We used all of our resources to survive being in a dead mall while we waited for the big things they said would happen that never came true. We invested our future into their future, and now the damage has been done.

Why is This Important:

We will run out of money within 1-2 months and be forced to close for good without help.

The Ultimate Goal:

Our ultimate goal is to move to a thriving location in the Des Moines, Iowa area. This is by far what the public has identified as the #1 issue that needs to be corrected. Thriving locations will cost $5,000-7,000 per month in rent (one year is $60,000-84,000) plus installation expenses like signage, paint and decor, etc. Because of the large expense, our Ultimate Goal amount is $100,000.

Side Note:

We created this GoFundMe because many people said this is how they wanted to help. They also said what they want for us is to help move us into a better location. As you can see, that is very expensive. Probably much more expensive than they think it will be. Will we reach this goal? That's up to you, but probably not. This is why we have set 'benchmark goals' along the way, so that you know what your contributions can help us achieve depending on the amount we are able to raise
