Help save the Westfield River Canoe and Kayak Race!

As some of you know, the Westfield River Wildwater Canoe and Kayak race has been faced with unexpected financial difficulties due to a dramatic increase in costs. These problems may cause the cancelation of the race, one of the oldest canoe and kayak races in the country. This year would be the 69th running of the race. We hope to gain enough financial support to continue this race into the future.

Those of you that don't know me, I did my first race with my father in 1990 when I was 9 years old. My family has been involved with the race for over 40 years. Similar to many racers, the race is near and dear to my heart and is a spring in New England tradition. I have been in contact with race leadership and received their blessing in setting up this page. They are looking for corporate and business sponsors, if that is you, please contact them directly.
